Virginia Department of Veterans Services to Host Entrepreneurship Forums

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services Board of Veterans Services’ Veteran Entrepreneurship is holding four Virginia Veteran Entrepreneurship Study Public Forum around the Commonwealth in late May and early-June. The purpose of these events is to help the agency gain perspectives on local entrepreneurial ecosystems and their ability to support veteran entrepreneurs. DVS will be seeking recommendations for programs, policies, and legislation to empower veteran entrepreneurs.   

logo-dvsThis public forum is being conducted as part of ongoing research by the Board of Veterans Services’ Veteran Entrepreneurship Working Group study of veteran entrepreneurship initiatives. 

Who Should Attend: 
+ Veteran entrepreneurs, 
+ University faculty & staff and student veterans
+ Local incubators & accelerators
+ SBDC, VBOC, EDAs, Chamber of Commerice professionals and clients
+ Legislators & other policymakers
